State Parks Ballot Measure

OK, it’s on. The measure for funding our state parks here in California has qualified for the November ballot. (Read Coverage in the SF Chronicle.) You can be sure the “anti-tax” folks will be all over this one. It needs our support as well as our vote. If it passes you will get into the parks for free( Well, California residents. Those of you from one of those other states will still have to pay but that’s as it is now- we don’t leave you in for free .). OK, there’s that $18 on your Vehicle License Fee but you go to a State Park more than three times a year, right? So it’s a good deal. You can read more about the Measure here. Watch for updates here.
