Spent an early morning – last week – at Milagra Ridge, part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. This is part of my continuing project to cover the San Mateo Coast. Milagra Ridge was one of the many old gun emplacements around the coast and an Nike missile site after that. Only one of the gun emplacements is still there. (The long delay in posting is due to a computer failure that is still being ‘resolved.’)
The Ridge is good for views of the coast and flowers in the spring. Here’s a shot that shows both Mori Point and San Pedro Point. You can see the rest of the day’s attempts here.
