Dawn in the Presidio

Well, mostly the Presidio.  It was foggy and dark so on my way to the Presidio, I stopped at the Palace of Fine Arts for a while.  Always a good place and, at 6:30am, not crowded.

After a time, I made my way over to the Presidio.  If you follow my blog at all, you know I’ve been to the Presidio several times looking for a foggy day.  Got it this time for sure.

I was, of course, shooting with the Fujifilm X-T1.  There was a recent firmware update and I was, to some extent,testing that.  The new firmware has a new film simulation mode, “Classic Chrome.”  It’s completely different from the others simulation modes and has a muted color space.  Works some of the time but I tend to like the Velvia look better.   The Presidio Trees picture uses the Chrome look.
