Point Bonita Lighthouse
I got a chance to see the Point Bonita Lighthouse – sans other tourists – the other day. (Thanks to RR.) It was morning and overcast so the light wasn’t great but it still was a good trip. The lighthouse was built on the current site in 1877. It defines, at least for me but maybe not geography majors, the entrance to the Golden Gate Strait. Still working on where San Francisco Bay begins and the Strait ends. At any rate, you can see my favorite shots from the trip here.
