I did the Lands End segment of the Coastal Trail yesterday morning. Come on, you didn’t really think I meant all 1200 miles of the Coastal Trail, did you? This is a short hike with some great views and a beach that is one of my favorites – Mile Rock Beach. The total round-trip hike was about three miles. You can check out the map to see exactly where I was. It was a foggy day so there were not any stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge. Mile Rock beach is a steep albeit short hike down from the main trail. It’s definitely worth it. If you go back to some of my earlier galleries you can see some sunset pictures from Mile Rock beach. Meanwhile, check out my favorites from yesterday on Recent Work.
By the way, the map was generated by GPS Visualizer using the readings from my GPS receiver. GPS Visualizer is a free service with lots of functions – recommended.
