A Moment of Silence…

South Rodeo Beach
I was at South Rodeo Beach in the Marin Headlands last night for the sunset. It was a great night on the beach; warm, no wind and a few small waves. The fact that I had a camera along was truly incidental. But, good as it was, there came a moment after the sun was down and everyone else had left that was beyond special. Standing on a beach there’s usually a fair amount of sound: waves crashing, birds and so on. But about 20 minutes after the sun was down last night, all the noise just stopped. And there I was, all by myself on the edge of the continent. I stopped shooting and just enjoyed the moment. Hopefully you will enjoy some of the pictures from last night at my recent work page.
