I spent a couple of days on the Sonoma Coast. Great place for those of us who like seascapes. Unlike the last time I was there, it was clear. That might have been due to the wind blasting down the coast. 🙂 Made all those flowers bob around like crazy. Glad I can use higher ISOs without worrying about it.
I also was reminded of the value of doing research about a site before you go there. I had chosen a couple of places to shoot the sunset based on The Photographer’s Ephemeris, Google Earth and Kenneth Adelman’s California Coastal Project. I was able to check out the sites and make a selection before sunset but there were no surprises – it was as shown. Great tools.
